Concrete Drill Bits

TIP For Picking out a proper bit

Using wet core bits is not always necessary, despite common knowledge. Concrete and reinforced concrete require the use of drilling lubricant. Water sometimes works as well as professional-grade lubricants, although when in doubt, you should purchase quality drilling lubricants.

Brick and concrete block can be drilled through with dry bits. However, more dense brick should be drilled with water to ensure quality drilling and prevent bits from breaking. Professional, industrial needs are almost always best suited by wet bits, though.
